Aeron Cargill holds a BA in Visual Arts and minor in History from the University of the West Indies and is an award-winning pencil portraitist, conceptual photographer, and trained wedding photographer.

His illustration works have appeared on the cover of The Jamaica Journal, in novels, children's books, television ads, and more. Among those who have collected his fine artwork is the Hon. Bruce Golding who acquired the portrait piece Roxanne Thought So- which was in the 2008 JCDC National Visual Art Competition. Aeron also won silver for the photography triptych Dream of Sally's Garden in 2007 and he went on to win gold, as well as the Jamaica 50 award in 2012 for his photography triptych Jonkunoo: Fife and Drum. Other awards include the CXC award and a Scholarship to the University of the West Indies in 2001 for the highest grade in 2D art in the Caribbean as well as national awards in recognition of the same achievement.
Aeron continues to work primarily as a freelance Illustrator, wedding photographer, and self-published children's book author. In his spare time he continues to explore exciting new concepts in mixed media and digital imagery with the hope of applying it to his personal work.
